I’ve spent the last 18 years working inside the yoga, wellness, and retreat industry…
Building, failing, rebuilding, and growing within it.
Over the years, I’ve seen this industry from very different angles.
As an independent wellness entrepreneur trying to make it work.
As a mentor and consultant for yoga, wellness, and retreat brands.
And from inside established and successful retreat brands.
I’ve led my own retreats and sold them out.
And I also struggled to fill them.
I’ve worked with luxury wellness brands like Six Senses, and Kamalaya…and I’ve seen how these businesses operate from the inside.
But none of that guaranteed a sustainable business.
In 2018, when I was building my own business in Bangkok, I had over a decade of experience in the industry.
As an independent wellness practitioner and retreat leader…
I knew how to hold space and guide people.
And I knew how to create meaningful experiences.
But at some point, I had to face an uncomfortable truth:
I didn’t have enough clients to make it work.
And that’s when I had to face something I didn’t think of before:
Being good at what you do is not enough to build a sustainable business.
No one had shown me how to position my offer in a way that made people choose it.
And when I looked around, I realised that this wasn’t just my problem.
It was happening across the entire industry.
That’s why I do this work today.
